The year 2008 marked the beginning of my journey in the Radio Industry when I promised loyalty towards the medium and vowed to bring a meaningful impact in my community. Upon my return to Dehradun in 2018, I recognized the potential to contribute to society by leveraging my expertise in Radio and its influential capabilities. Then, as 2020 unfolded, despite technological advancement, Uttarakhand only had a handful of community Radio stations which were limited to the capital city with a mere range of 30 km and had no influential means of mass Communication. This gap became my focal point investigating the core of these communities that are close to my heart. And thus, OHO (our Himalayan online) Radio was born, extending its reach to the farthest corners of Uttarakhand. My aspiration is for us to progress together and recognize that the true development of Uttarakhand lies in directing attention to these remote regions. With the motto of “Soch Local – Approach Global,” OHO Radio captures the essence of Uttarakhand’s society, culture, traditions, and much more

RJ Kaavya stands as a distinguished Radio Jockey, with a comprehensive 15-year experience in the radio industry. Aligning with esteemed brands across the nation, his journey has also taken him to YouTube, where his channel, “Uttar Ka Puttar,” has garnered popularity not only within Uttarakhand but beyond its borders. The show “Ek Pahadi Aisa Bhi” has been showered with praises, marking it as a cherished digital production. Through “Uttar Ka Puttar,” he actively promotes Uttarakhand’s distinct culture and sheds light on relevant social issues.
